Sai Sudharsan

He soon established himself in the state side across all three formats. He was in the Tamil Nadu squad that claimed the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in 2022. In the 2022-23 Vijay Hazare competition he opened the batting and collected 610 runs from 8 matches, the third-best tally of the tournament. In his first Ranji season he made centuries in each of his opening two appearances.

Those domestic returns earned him a place in India's ODI squad for the 2023 tour of South Africa. With a number of senior players unavailable, he struck half-centuries in back-to-back games during the three-match series, and the two innings differed sharply in character.

In the Indian Premier League, Gujarat Titans signed him for INR 20 lakh at the 2022 auction. Used near the top of the order in his first season, he made 145 runs across 5 matches and registered his first IPL fifty. He was given a bigger role in 2023, scoring 362 runs in 8 innings from No. 3. In that season's final against Chennai Super Kings he hit 96 from 47 balls, though Gujarat were beaten.

By 2024 he had become central to the Titans' batting and topped the franchise's run charts with 527 runs at an average of 47.90, including two fifties and a hundred against Chennai Super Kings. Gujarat retained him for INR 8.50 crore before the 2025 IPL auction.
