Gabe Bell is an Australian cricketer who bowls right-arm fast medium. Born on 3 July 1995, he has represented both Australia Under-19 and Tasmania.
Bell first drew attention through his results in junior cricket, and those displays led Tasmania to sign him. He was later brought into the Tigers program, where he joined an environment that included experienced pace bowlers such as Hilfenhaus.
The 2013-14 season produced several encouraging moments for the young seamer. Playing for Tasmania in the last Futures League fixture of that summer, he faced Queensland at the TCA Ground and returned figures of 3-41, a performance that underlined what he might offer in the years ahead.
That same season he also caught the eye on the international youth stage. At an under-19 tri-series held in Darwin, Bell was used as the first-change bowler against India. Across his 10 overs he collected 3/34, making him the most effective bowler of the match, although his efforts could not prevent Australia from being beaten.
