South AustraliaBatter
Jason Sangha is a batsman widely regarded as one of the brightest young talents in Australia's domestic game, and he is seen by many as a player who could one day graduate to the national team.
His leadership qualities were on display at the 2018 under-19 World Cup, where he served as captain of Australia's under-19 side. The campaign did not end with a title for his team, but Sangha himself finished as Australia's leading run-scorer at the event, compiling 229 runs.
At first-class level he has already reached some notable milestones. When he scored a century against England, he became the second-youngest player to achieve that feat, with only Sachin Tendulkar having done so at a younger age. He also earned selection for New South Wales at an age that made him the youngest player in 90 years to represent the state.
In the Big Bash League, Sangha has been part of the Sydney Thunder squad since the 2018/19 season.
