United States of AmericaBatter
Aaron Jones hails from Barbados and later became a citizen of the United States. He is primarily a batsman, operating in the middle order with a fluent, stroke-making style, and he can also contribute the odd over of leg spin when his captain needs another option.
His grounding came in Caribbean domestic cricket. From 2016 he featured regularly in the Super50 competition, and in 2017 he made his debut in First-class cricket. Those years of domestic experience, and the performances that came with them, put him in line for international selection.
The call from the USA came in 2018, when he was picked for the World Cricket League Division Three event held in Oman. The following year brought a personal milestone at WCL Division Two in 2019, where he struck his maiden List A hundred. That same tournament proved significant for the team as a whole, since the USA came away from it with ODI status. In more recent seasons Jones has established himself as a regular fixture in the national side.
