Andries Gous

Gous was named in the Free State squad for the 2018 Africa T20 Cup. Across the four matches he featured in during that competition, he made 155 runs, a return that left him level at the top of Free State's run-scoring list for the event.

His approach at the crease is built around attack. Rather than working the ball around for ones and twos, Gous prefers to look for the fence. That intent shows in his record in the shortest format, where he scores at a strike rate of 140. He has also reached three figures in every one of the game's three formats, and alongside his batting he brings sound glovework to the team.
