Shubham Sharma

His introduction to first-class cricket came in November 2013, when he was picked by Madhya Pradesh for a fixture against Baroda. The occasion proved a difficult one for his side, which was beaten by a margin of 246 runs. Despite that tough start, Sharma went on to build a first-class career with Madhya Pradesh.

Baroda would later feature in a far happier chapter for him. Playing against them in the Ranji Trophy, he compiled 196, which stands as the best score of his first-class career.

The standout all-round display of his career arrived in November 2018 against Bengal. In that game he made a hundred with the bat and also claimed five wickets with his off-breaks, showing in a single fixture how valuable his dual skills can be to Madhya Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy.
