Arshad Khan is a left-arm fast bowler who can also hit the ball hard when batting in the lower order. Talent scouts working for Mumbai Indians first noticed him while he was still competing in junior cricket.

Mumbai Indians signed him at the 2022 IPL auction for INR 20 lakh, but an injury kept him out of that tournament altogether. The franchise held on to him for the next season, and he finally got his chance, claiming 5 wickets across 6 matches, though he leaked runs at a costly rate.
His next move took him to Lucknow Super Giants for the season after that. He made 4 appearances for them and had little impact as a bowler, but his batting caught the eye in a game against Delhi Capitals, where he struck an unbeaten 58 from just 33 balls.
His mix of skills, including swinging the new ball, sharp work in the field and the power to clear the ropes, makes him an appealing option in T20 cricket. Gujarat Titans recognised that value at the 2025 IPL auction, securing him for INR 1.3 crore.
