Commentary

- In response, King fell early to Hasan Mahmud. Campbell was tentative initially and rode his luck (dropped twice). But Campbell capitalised and played his shots nicely to raise a fifty while Chanderpaul dug in from the other end. An early tea was taken due to bad light and then rain intervened. Once play resumed, the duo of Taijul and Mehidy spun a web on a surface which started to turn and grip appreciably. Campbell fell to the guile of Mehidy while Taijul struck twice in an over soon after to dent the visitors. Amidst all this, Chanderpaul showed great resistance and managed to hold the fort before bad light came into the picture again and no more play was possible. The pitch is showing signs of wear and tear so expect the moving day to be action-packed. Goodbye for now...
- 16:55 Local Time, 10:55 GMT, 16:25 IST: The light hasn't improved and the umpires have called it a day. So, it's Stumps on Day 2! What an absorbing day of Test cricket! Bangladesh were ahead in the game when they resumed their innings this morning but the tables turned in dramatic fashion - the hosts lost 7 for 59 to throw away an advantageous position. Shadman was stranded on 99 overnight and raised his century in the first over of the day. But, he was trapped in front soon after by Joshua Bishop who went on to take another wicket in a space of three balls. The West Indies continued to chip away at the wickets. Shamar and Warrican were too good for the tailenders with the latter finishing with an impressive 5-fer.
- 16:38 Local Time, 10:38 GMT, 16:08 IST: The umpires get together again. Umpire Sam Nogajski brings the lightmeter out and takes a reading. The light is not good enough to continue play. Shanto has a chat with the umpires. Bad light stops play. There's only a negligible chance that light will improve from here on.

- Time for Drinks! It's been a trial by spin for West Indies after returning from the rain break. Taijul and Mehidy bowled in tandem for 19 overs and shared three wickets between them. The ball is turning and gripping and the runs have dried up for the visitors as well. Chanderpaul though has been solid as a rock and continues to grind it out.
