Georgia Voll, a batter from Toowoomba in Queensland, has risen through the ranks at speed and is now widely talked about as the next major batting talent in Australian cricket. Sport was a constant for her from childhood, and during her school years she also played rugby before cricket eventually became her main focus.

Her domestic career gathered real momentum once she joined Brisbane Heat in the Women's Big Bash League. It was with the Heat that her batting truly flourished, and those performances helped push her towards national selection.
That chance arrived during the 2024 Australian summer, when she earned her first call-up for a one-day international series against India. Voll needed little time to make an impression, reaching three figures in only her second ODI appearance. The hundred led to her inclusion in the T20 side, and she was later chosen for the single Test match of the Women's Ashes. She played a key role in that Ashes campaign, which Australia completed with a 16-0 triumph.
Her success on the international stage also opened doors in franchise cricket. For the 2025 Women's Premier League, UP Warriorz brought her in as a replacement for Sri Lankan star Chamari Athapaththu, giving Voll another platform to build on her fast start at the top level.
