Cam Fletcher is a wicket-keeper who bats right-handed and is regarded as a promising young cricketer. Although his career is still in its early stages, he has already turned out for a wide range of sides, among them the New Zealand Under-19s, Auckland A, Northern Districts, Northern Districts A and Canterbury.

His first notable impact came on the junior international stage. At the 2012 Under-19 World Cup he gathered 141 runs, which placed him third among New Zealand's run-getters at the event. That tally featured an important half-century made against the India Under-19 side.
Those displays brought him to the attention of Auckland, who handed him a contract for the 2013/14 season. Fletcher spent around two seasons with Auckland, combining his glovework with his batting, before making the switch to Canterbury in 2017.
With experience at youth international level and with several domestic teams already behind him, Fletcher has built a varied grounding as a keeper who also contributes with the bat.
