Aniket Choudhary is a left-arm medium pacer from Bikaner in Rajasthan. He developed his game in school cricket, where his ability was spotted and refined, and he went on to make his Ranji Trophy debut at 21. At first-class level he represents Rajasthan, and his skill with the ball was noticed in that competition.

His bowling is built on a skiddy delivery and a repertoire of cutters, which make him harder to read than his medium pace might suggest. That style brought him an Indian Premier League deal in 2013, when Kings XI Punjab bought him at auction.
The profile that came with the IPL contract was followed by selection for India A. According to the source, that was the nearest he had come to a place in the full national side. Steady results in domestic cricket, along with some respectable displays in the few IPL matches he was given, led Royal Challengers Bangalore to sign him for INR 2 crore ahead of the 2017 season. The franchise was satisfied enough with his work to keep him for the 2018 edition.
After close to 7 years on the circuit, Choudhary has found it hard to stand out amid strong competition among Indian fast bowlers, and a senior India cap has so far eluded him.
