This left-arm fast bowler came up through India's Under-19 pathway. His game is built on attacking the pitch with force, which lets him find movement off the seam and make the ball climb sharply on batters.

His profile rose at the 2020 Under-19 World Cup, where he belonged to a strong Indian pace unit. India reached the final of that tournament and finished as runners-up.
The Indian Premier League soon followed. Rajasthan Royals picked him up at the 2020 auction, and he made his first IPL appearance in 2021, although that turned out to be his only match of the season. In 2023, Chennai Super Kings brought him in as a replacement signing. He shared the new ball for them, taking on opening duties across six matches.
His next move came at the 2025 IPL auction, when Lucknow Super Giants secured him at his base price of INR 30 lakh. He claimed 4 wickets from 3 appearances for the side, and the franchise chose to keep him on afterwards.
