Ottneil Baartman

He has collected wickets quickly in the longer format. Baartman reached 50 first-class wickets in just his 16th match at that level, and his bowling average sits in the low 20s. He has a habit of breaking through at important moments in a game. One of his standout feats is a haul of 10 or more wickets in a three-day fixture, and the best figures of his career stand at 14/95.

The Knights brought him into their ranks for the 2017/18 season. He was also named in the Northern Cape squad for the 2018 Africa T20 Cup, which gave him exposure to the shortest form of the game alongside his red-ball work.
