BengalBatter
Abhimanyu Easwaran is an opening batsman whose story starts in Dehradun, the city of his birth. When he was 10 years old, he relocated to Kolkata with the aim of building a future in the sport, and Bengal has been his only side in domestic cricket ever since.
His rise has been built on run-scoring. Year after year he has delivered dependable performances on the domestic circuit, and the sheer volume of runs he has piled up across recent seasons earned him a spot in the India A team. His numbers in the longer, red-ball game are strong for someone who opens the innings, yet he appears even more comfortable in white-ball cricket, where his average stands at 50.
That consistency eventually brought senior recognition. In 2024 he received his first call-up to the Indian squad, named for the home Test series against England. Later that same year the selectors included him again, this time for the tour of Australia. Despite these selections, he has not yet made his debut for India.
