Xavier Bartlett is an Australian fast bowler from Queensland whose game is built around genuine speed, helped by a strong, well-built frame. He came through the youth ranks, wearing Australia's colours at an Under-19 World Cup, where he was a key figure in the seam attack of a young national side.

At state level, Bartlett has turned out for Queensland's Under-19 and Under-23 teams, and he has been a regular for the Under-23 side on a number of occasions. His promise was recognised in 2017-18 when Queensland handed him a rookie contract. He went on to make his first-class debut for the state in 2019, and the Brisbane Heat brought him into their squad for the 2020/21 season.
His introduction to List A cricket came with the National Performance Squad in a match against India A. That fixture gave the young quick an early test against a strong batting line-up featuring Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Sanju Samson and Hardik Pandya.
Bartlett also represented the Cricket Australia XI in the Matador One-Day Cup in 2016. In one of those games he removed the experienced Michael Klinger, a notable scalp, although Western Australia still won, reaching a target of roughly 150 inside 14 overs.
