Raj Bawa

An all-rounder through the junior ranks, Bawa did enough at age-group level to be selected for India at the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2022. His batting in that event amounted to useful short innings, but the ball was where he made his mark. He finished with nine wickets, five of them coming in the final, a performance that won him the Player of the Match award and helped India lift the trophy.

That success led Punjab Kings to bring him into the IPL, though chances there proved hard to come by. He appeared in only a few matches without leaving much of an impression, and the franchise let him go after the 2022 season. In total he has five IPL appearances to his name.

Following two seasons away from the competition, Bawa was back in 2025, this time in the colours of Mumbai Indians. A seam-bowling all-rounder capable of contributing in both disciplines, he is still at an early point in his senior career and has yet to produce a standout display in the IPL.
