Liam Dudding

That opening appearance went well for him. He claimed three wickets on debut, which earned him selection for two further matches. In those outings the young seamer continued to make a reasonable contribution, adding another five wickets to his tally.

The period after that promising start was harder. In the next year he featured in just a single match, and in the season that followed he struggled to force his way into the starting side on a regular basis.

Despite those limited opportunities, he has remained under contract with the Stags. That deal keeps him within the setup, giving him the chance to push for a recall to the playing eleven in future.

The details available about him are modest, covering mainly his early first-class outings, his wicket returns in those games and the reduced playing time he experienced afterwards.
