Gordon's first One-Day International for Canada came in July 2012, when the side met Scotland. He finished that debut with a single wicket. His next ODI showed real progress. Facing the Netherlands in August 2013, in a fixture forming part of the World Cricket League Championship, 2011-2013/14, he returned figures of 3/26, a clear step up on his opening appearance.
The shortest format followed soon after, with Gordon earning his Twenty20 International debut in November 2013. In only his second T20I, played against Kenya at the World T20 Qualifiers, he claimed 2 wickets, although his contribution could not prevent a Canadian defeat in that match.
This account reflects his career up to May 2014.
