Yuvraj Chaudhary is a left-handed batter who also sends down left-arm orthodox spin. His domestic career has taken him from Chandigarh to his home state of Uttarakhand, and along the way he has developed into a batter with a strong appetite for clearing the boundary.

His first taste of senior limited-overs cricket came in 2021 with Chandigarh, who selected him primarily for his bowling. That stint did not work out, and after a couple of seasons without much success he moved back to Uttarakhand. The switch brought a change of role as well, with Chaudhary used as an opener. In the 2023-24 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy he made 244 runs from 7 games at a strike rate of 141.86. That same season also marked his debut in first-class cricket.
His opening Ranji Trophy campaign was a quiet one, but the 2024-25 season was very different. Operating from the middle order, he gathered 497 runs at an average of 41.41 and finished the competition with more sixes than anyone else, hitting 21 of them.
That period also produced a remarkable run of first centuries. Inside roughly two months he reached three figures for the first time in every format: 158 against Rajasthan in the Ranji Trophy, a 60-ball 123 against Karnataka in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, and 151 against Manipur in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. During that same stretch, Lucknow Super Giants secured his services for INR 30 lakh at the 2025 IPL auction.
