Kranti Goud is a medium fast bowler from Madhya Pradesh whose profile has risen sharply during the 2025 Women's Premier League. Her roots lie in the rural parts of that state, and much of her early cricket was played with a tennis ball rather than a leather one.

The guidance she received from her coaches in those formative years was strikingly simple: run in hard and bowl with pace. Goud has kept that straightforward philosophy at the heart of her game as she has moved up through the levels of the sport.
Her breakthrough on the domestic stage came in the 2024 Women's Senior One Day Cup. Over the course of that tournament she collected 17 wickets, and she saved one of her best efforts for the title decider, returning figures of 4/25 as Madhya Pradesh lifted the trophy.
Her path into franchise cricket began behind the scenes. During the 2024 season she worked with UP Warriorz as a net bowler, and the following year she was brought into the squad as a player, signed at her base price.
