Jordan Cox is a wicket-keeper who bats right-handed and represents Kent. His route into the professional game began in club cricket, and in 2017 he made his first appearance for the county's second team. Strong displays at that level brought him to the attention of the senior side, and he was given his first-class debut in 2019.

The England and Wales Cricket Board also took notice of his progress. In 2020 he was picked for the England squad that travelled to the Under-19 World Cup.
When Cox reached three figures in first-class cricket for the first time, he kept going until he had a double hundred. During that innings he and Jack Leaning put on 423 together, a stand described as record-breaking. He also shone in white-ball cricket: in the 2021 T20 Blast final, which Kent won to claim the title, he struck 58 from 28 deliveries and was named player of the match.
His career has since taken him to several franchise competitions. In England he joined the Oval Invincibles in The Hundred. Overseas, he turned out for the Hobart Hurricanes during the 2021/22 Big Bash League, and he has been signed by the Dambulla Aura in the Lanka Premier League and by the Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the SA20. For the 2023/24 Big Bash season he switched to the Melbourne Renegades.
