Before building his reputation at home, Milind made a strong impression in junior international cricket. He was an important member of the India Under-19 squad at the 2014 World Cup, where he spearheaded the side's fast bowling.
His displays in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy drew further attention. In the South Zone stage of that competition he took a hat-trick against Tamil Nadu, and he finished as the top wicket-taker with 17 wickets at an average of 14.58.
Those performances led to an opportunity in the Indian Premier League. SunRisers Hyderabad secured his services at the 2015 auction. This profile reflects information available as of April 2015.
