Gurnoor Brar is a fast bowler from Punjab who bowls with his right arm. He stands taller than 6 feet 4 inches and releases the ball from a high arm, a combination that lets him extract awkward bounce. His method relies on striking the pitch firmly, and that lift off the surface is his main weapon for unsettling opposing batters.

His senior career began in first-class cricket in 2022. A year later, in 2023, he made his first appearance in the Indian Premier League, turning out for Punjab Kings. Neither milestone marked his real arrival, though. That came in 2024, the season in which his performances started to stand out.
In the red-ball game, the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy proved especially productive. Across 7 matches he collected 26 wickets, more than any other Punjab bowler managed that season. His form carried over into the shortest format as well. At the 2024 Sher-E-Punjab T20 tournament he finished as the top wicket-taker, claiming 22 scalps from 11 matches while averaging 14 and conceding runs at an economy rate of 7.33.
Those returns attracted attention at the 2025 IPL auction, where Gujarat Titans secured his services for INR 1.30 crore. The move gives the tall Punjab quick a fresh franchise setting in which to put his bounce and hard-hitting length to work.
